Over 25 Years of Hairdressing Experience - Delivered to Your Door
Hi, I'm Saffron - a fully qualified mobile hairdresser based in Barnstaple, offering professional, personalised hairdressing across North Devon.
With over 25 years of experience in the hair industry, I’ve had the privilege of working with clients from all walks of life - both locally and on some of the UK’s biggest stages. My goal has always been the same: to help people look and feel their best, in a setting where they’re most comfortable - their own home.
My Hairdressing Journey
My career began right here in North Devon, where I gained my NVQ Level 2 and 3 in Hairdressing. I worked in various salons across Barnstaple and Bideford, developing my skills and building a loyal client base.
In 2002, I moved to London to join the prestigious Headmasters salon group as a Senior Stylist. There, I rapidly progressed through the ranks, earning three promotions and eventually becoming a Team Director. I completed 15 advanced training courses and was invited to join the Headmasters Art Team - an elite group that worked on shows, shoots, and education across the capital.

During my time in London, I had the incredible opportunity to work on:

Catwalk shows at Camden Palace, Ministry of Sound, and the V&A
Teaching & training at L’Oréal Academy, Hammersmith
Editorial shoots for Hello! Magazine, Elle, Top Santé, and New Woman
Celebrity & fashion events including a Jimmy Choo charity show for Hello! at Kew Gardens
Styling work for emerging bands and a Hollyoaks fashion shoot for Elle Magazine
All this while managing a full client list, delivering high-end, day-to-day salon services.
